*1 Report of the Commission for Africa

The United Kingdom announced the establishment of the Commission for Africa in February 2004 for the purpose of promoting international support toward the G8 Africa Action Plan and NEPAD. Following three subsequent meetings, the United Kingdom released the report in March 2005. This report contained a comprehensive and detailed analysis concerning African issues and made recommendations for future African development.
