From Yamanouchi to the World (February 26)

What did everyone think of the Nagano Olympic Games? Over the last few weeks, we have filed reports on this Website for people around the world to read. We would like to thank all of you who have written to us and encouraged us with your friendly messages.

We have all learned a lot this month, both by seeing the Olympics in our hometown and by reading the messages we have received. We are doing our best to answer all the e-mail that has arrived--please give us a little time and we promise you'll hear back from us!

The Games aren't over yet, though. On March 5 the Winter Paralympic Games will kick off in Nagano. We are all excited about them; we think they will be even more exciting than the Olympic Games have been. Our school is holding a trip to see the Paralympics on March 6. The youngest Paralympic athlete ever, Naoya Maruyama from Hakuba Middle School, will be skiing for Japan. We hope you will all check out the Games if you have a chance!

Once again, thanks to everyone around the globe who has read our articles and sent us mail. From Yamanouchi Middle School to the whole world, goodbye!
