Checking Out the Snowboard Slalom (February 8)

The weather was great in the morning, and crowds of spectators came to see the men's slalom event. There were people working in all kinds of ways to make the event a success. Some went around picking up the trash around the race course and grandstands, and others helped make sure the course was in good shape after each racer boarded down it.

Even more people showed up for the second round of the event. The crowd was very excited, and the cheering got really loud. It was a bit of a hike from the parking area to the race course, but I thought it was fun because I got to see plenty of interesting things on the way. I hope you can all come see the racing too!
