Has consent been achieved regarding the Japan-Australia EPA report?

Minister:
As to the issuing of a final report, it has been agreed to submit it to the Prime Minister.

Question:
Does this mean that a firm direction has been decided on for beginning the talks?

Minister:
Ultimately, it is the decision of the Prime Minister.

Question:
I believe there are various concerns in the agricultural sector. Will these be able to be dispelled?

Minister:
I think we are at the point where we have reached an understanding with the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Division of the Liberal Democratic Party and others about these concerns. We are now at the start of the negotiations. How the talks will develop from hereon in is another matter.
