  1. The Fourth Meeting of Japan-Thailand Joint Task Force on Counter Trafficking in Persons will take place on Tuesday, August 7 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  2. The Fourth Meeting will be attended from the Japanese side by Mr. Yoshiya Muto, Deputy Director-General, Foreign Policy Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and related officials of the Cabinet Office, the National Police Agency, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Japan Coast Guard; and from the Thai side by Mr. Thongchai Chasawath, Deputy Director-General, Department of East Asian Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as head of delegation, and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Office of the Attorney General and the Royal Thai Police.

  3. At the Meeting, there will be a discussion on the situation and measures against Trafficking in Persons of the two countries and strengthening Japan-Thai cooperation for the prevention of human trafficking, law enforcement and the protection of victims.
