15th Japan-Central America Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation

- The 15th Japan-Central America Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation will be held on Friday, July 27, local time (Saturday, July 28, JST), in Managua, Nicaragua.
- This vice-ministerial meeting has been held since 1995, alternately in Japan and in one of Central American countries (El Salvador, Belize, Costa-Rica, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama).
- This year, Mr. Akira Yamada, Director-General, Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and vice-ministers or their representatives of the Central American countries will participate in the Forum, and they will discuss the relationship between Japan and Central America and challenges the international society is facing.
