Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde of the Kingdom of Belgium will make a visit to Japan from Sunday, June 10 to Saturday, June 16.
During their stay, Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan will invite Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde to a banquet at the Imperial Palace. In addition, Their Imperial Highnesses the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Japan will invite Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde to a luncheon at the Crown Prince’s Residence.
His Royal Highness Prince Philippe will visit Japan as the leader of an economic mission made up of around 300 businesspeople, and is scheduled to visit Tokyo as well as Osaka and Kyoto. Her Royal Highness Princess Mathilde is scheduled to visit Miyagi Prefecture as well as Tokyo.
As a result of the visit to Japan by Their Royal Highnesses Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde, friendly relations between Japan and the Kingdom of Belgium are expected to deepen further.
