Visit to Japan by His Excellency Mr. Truong Tan Sang, Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee

His Excellency Mr. Truong Tan Sang, Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee, will visit Japan from Wednesday, June 1 to Saturday, June 4 as a guest of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Permanent Member Truong Tan Sang's visit to Japan was originally planned in March this year, but was rescheduled after the occurrence of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
During his stay in Japan, Permanent Member Truong Tan Sang is scheduled to meet with Mr. Takeaki MATSUMOTO, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan and will exchange their views on bilateral cooperation including both political and economic aspects from the perspective of strengthening the strategic partnership. Permanent Member Truong Tan Sang will also hold meetings with Mr. Naoto KAN, Prime Minister of Japan, and other government officials as well as with business executives. Permanent Member Truong Tan Sang will visit Asahi City in Chiba Prefecture, which was affected by tsunami in March, to show solidarity between Japan and Viet Nam for efforts toward reconstruction after the Great East Japan Earthquake. This will be followed by Permanent Member Truong Tan Sang's visit to Osaka.
