His Excellency Mr. Jean Asselborn, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, will visit Japan from April 19 to 21, 2011.
During his stay in Japan, Mr. Jean Asselborn, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to meet with Mr. Takeaki Matsumoto, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan to exchange views regarding the bilateral relationship as well as the current European economic situation.
It is hoped that the visit of Mr. Asselborn, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, will further strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations between Japan and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Mr. Asselborn, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, visited the Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg on March 23 to sign on a condolence book for the Great East Japan Earthquake.
