Visit to India and the Kingdom of Thailand by Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs

- Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will visit India and the Kingdom of Thailand from August 20 (Fri) to August 24 (Tue).
- In India, Minister Okada is scheduled to attend the 4th Japan-India Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue with Mr. S. M. Krishna, Minister of External Affairs of India, on August 21 (Sat), to discuss bilateral issues encompassing security, politics, and economy, as well as to exchange views on regional and global issues. Minister Okada is also scheduled to meet with Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India.
- In Thailand, Minister Okada will hold meetings with Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand on August 23 (Mon), to exchange views on the situation in Thailand, bilateral relations including the development of the Mekong region, as well as other matters including the regional issues.
