His Excellency Mr. José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, President of the Government of Spain, will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan from 31 August to 2 September, 2010.

During his stay in Japan, the President will be received in audience by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan.

Mr. Naoto Kan, Prime Minister of Japan will hold a meeting with the President.

The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and Spain.
