Visit to Japan of the 2nd Group of Senior High School Students from India on the "Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme" (21st Century Exchange Program)

  1. Eighty Indian high school students will visit Japan from June 2(Wed) to 11(Fri) as a part of the "Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme" (21st Century Exchange Program).

  2. The group, after receiving lectures on Japan in Tokyo, will be devided into four groups and visit Saitama, Gifu, Kochi, and Fukuoka prefectures respectively.  There will be such events as school exchanges and home stays in each prefecture. They will visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to report of their visit on June 10(Thu).

  3. Under the JENESYS Programme, about 600 youths, including the above 80, will be invited from India in this year.
