Visit to Japan of His Excellency Mr. Traian BASESCU, President of Romania and Mrs. Maria BASESCU

  1. His Excellency Mr. Traian BASESCU, President of Romania, and Mrs. Maria BASESCU, will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan from 9 to 11 March, 2010.
  2. During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. BASESCU will make a State Call on Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan, and Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress will host a Court Luncheon in honor of the President and Mrs BASESCU.
    Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Prime Minister of Japan will hold a meeting with the President.
  3. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. BASESCU, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and Romania.


Provisional Itinerary

March 9 (Tue) : Evening Arrival at Tokyo International Airport

March 10 (Wed) : Morning State Call, Afternoon Court Luncheon,  Meeting with Prime Minister of Japan

March 11 (Thu) : Evening Departure from Tokyo International Airport
