- Mr. Taro Aso, Former Prime Minister, will visit the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Ecuador from Friday, December 31 to Thursday, January 6, 2011.
- While in the Federative Republic of Brazil, Former Prime Minister Aso, as Ambassador of Japan on Special Mission, is scheduled to attend the inauguration ceremony of Ms. Dilma Vana Rousseff, President-elect of the Federative Republic of Brazil, to be held on Saturday, January 1st. Former Prime Minister Aso is also scheduled to carry out exchanges of opinions with high-level figures of the Governments who are to attend the inauguration ceremony and to have meetings with representatives of Japanese descendent community.
- Mr. Aso will also stay in the Republic of Ecuador leading the visiting group of the House of Representative to these countries.
