The Japan-ROK Meeting Concerning the Reconstruction of Afghanistan

- Based on the agreement reached between the leaders during the Japan-ROK
Summit Meeting on January 12, the Japan-ROK Meeting Concerning the Reconstruction
and Development of Afghanistan will be held in Seoul on January 30 (Fri).
- This Meeting will be held between Mr. Katsuki Oda, Deputy Director-General
of the International Cooperation Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and
Mr. Park Kang-ho, Director-General for Development Cooperation, Office of
International Organizations and Global Issues, Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and Trade.
- This Meeting will be held intended to discuss cooperation between Japan and the ROK concerning the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan, in areas such as cooperation in the technical and vocational education and training and in agriculture, fields that were considered to be the promising at the Japan-ROK Summit Meeting.
