The Third Ministerial-Level Meeting of the Four-Party Consultative Unit for the “Corridor for Peace and Prosperity”

  1. On July 2 (Wed), Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will host the third ministerial-level meeting of the Four-Party Consultative Unit for the “Corridor for Peace and Prosperity”, with the participation of representatives of Israel, Palestine, and Jordan.
     
  2. The meeting will be attended by Dr. Salam Fayyad, Prime Minister and Dr. Samir Abdullah, Minister of Planning of the Palestinian Authority; Mr. Gideon Ezra, Minister of Environment Protection of Israel, and Mr. Salaheddin Al-Bashir, Foreign Minister of Jordan.  
     
  3. Following the Second Ministerial-Level Meeting held in August 2007, this meeting aims at promoting Japan’s initiative for “Corridor for Peace and Prosperity” for future co-existence and co-prosperity between Israel and Palestine.
