Conferment Ceremony of Commendation Certificates of the Minister for Foreign Affairs on the Occasion of the Japan-Brazil Exchange Year/100th Anniversary of Japanese Emigration to Brazil

  1. On April 23 (Wed), a ceremony to confer commendation certificates issued by the Minister for Foreign Affairs on the occasion of the Japan-Brazil Exchange Year/100th Anniversary of Japanese Emigration to Brazil will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
     
  2. The conferment ceremony will be held to commemorate the Japan-Brazil Exchange Year/100th Anniversary of Japanese Emigration to Brazil, and a total of 145 individuals and groups who contributed to the Japanese immigration and friendship with Brazil will receive the certificates from the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
     
  3. At the ceremony, certificates will be conferred upon ten individuals and groups residing in Japan, followed by discussions.
