will take place on April 4 (Fri) (Japan time: April 5 (Sat)) in San Salvador,
- This Forum, a vice-ministerial meeting, has been held, in principle,
every year, alternately in Japan and a Central American country, since 1995

America, in the wake of the end of conflict and the progress of democratization
in Central American countries since the 1990s.
- El Salvador will chair the Eleventh Forum. The Forum will discuss the cooperation regarding Central American integration, sustainable development (including the environment, climate change and disaster prevention), the development of economic relations, and other matters, which were announced by the leaders of Japan and Central America in 2005.
