Visit to Japan by H. E. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam

- H. E. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, will visit Japan from March 23 (Sun) to 28 (Fri) as Guest of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
- During his stay in Japan, Dr. Nhan will meet with Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and other leading figures of the Government of Japan to exchange views on such matters as Japan-Viet Nam cooperation centering on education. He will also visit universities in Tokyo and the Kansai district to exchange opinions with those engaged in education.
- It is expected that Dr. Nhan's visit to Japan will help Japan-Viet Nam relations develop toward a "strategic partnership" in the field of education also.
