Visit to Japan by Mission Group of Sakhalin Regional Administration headed by Vice Governor Namakonov

1. A mission group of the Sakhalin Regional Administration of the Russian Federation, headed by Vice Governor Oleg Livovich Namakonov, is on a visit to Japan from March 15 (Sat) to March 22 (Sat) by invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2. During their stay in Japan, the mission group will exchange views with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the National Diet and business circles, and local autonomous bodies including the Hokkaido Government.
3. It is expected that the mission group's visit to Japan will further enhance relations between Japan and the Sakhalin Region.
