Visit to Japan by Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, Adviser for Foreign Affairs to the Caretaker Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh

  1. Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, Adviser for Foreign Affairs to the Caretaker Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, will visit Japan from February 24 (Sun) to 28 (Thu) as Guest of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
     
  2. During his stay, Dr. Chowdhury will have a foreign ministerial meeting with Mr. Masahiko Koumura, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and exchange views on bilateral relations as well as international issues with dignitaries of the Government of Japan.
     
  3. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
