Japan - China - R.O.K Trilateral Policy Consultation on Foreign Policy towards Africa

  1. Trilateral policy consultation on foreign policy towards Africa will be held in Tokyo on December 12(Fri) between Japan, the People’s Republic of China, and the Republic of Korea (R.O.K).
     
  2. The consultation will be attended, on the Japanese side, by Mr. Ambassador Yoshitaka Akimoto, Director-General for Sub-Saharan African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and other officials; on the Chinese side, by Ms. Xu Jinghu, Director-General of the Department of African Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China; and on the R.O.K. side, by Mr. Kim Jin-Soo, Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea.
     
  3. At this consultation, participants will exchange views on the three countries’ priorities on Africa policy as well as their economic relations and development cooperation with Africa, and regional issues.
