Japan - China - R.O.K Trilateral Policy Consultation on Foreign Policy towards Africa

- Trilateral policy consultation on foreign policy towards Africa will
be held in Tokyo on December 12(Fri) between Japan, the People’s Republic
of China, and the Republic of Korea (R.O.K).
- The consultation will be attended, on the Japanese side, by Mr. Ambassador
Yoshitaka Akimoto, Director-General for Sub-Saharan African Affairs, Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and other officials; on the Chinese side, by
Ms. Xu Jinghu, Director-General of the Department of African Affairs, Ministry
of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China; and on the R.O.K.
side, by Mr. Kim Jin-Soo, Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African
Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of
Korea.
- At this consultation, participants will exchange views on the three countries’ priorities on Africa policy as well as their economic relations and development cooperation with Africa, and regional issues.
