Visit to Japan by Mr. M. K. Narayanan, National Security Adviser of India

1. Mr. M. K. Narayanan, National Security Adviser of India, will visit Japan from August 6 (Mon) to 7 (Tue).
2. During his stay, Mr. Narayanan will pay a courtesy call on Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister, and exchange views with Mr. Yasuhisa Shiozaki, Chief Cabinet Secretary, Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Ms. Yuriko Koike, Minister of Defense.
3. The purpose of Mr. Narayanan’s visit is to exchange wide-ranging opinions on Japan-India bilateral relations and cooperation in regional and international issues, prior to Mr. Abe’s visit to India scheduled from August 21 (Tue) to 23 (Thu).
