First Assistance Committee for the “Second Phase of the Japan-ROK Joint History Research” and the First Regular Consultation Meeting for the Joint History Research

- On June 22 (Fri), the First Assistance Committee for the “Second Phase of the Japan-ROK Joint History Research” will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2 p.m. The assistance committee was established to smoothly implement the second phase of the joint history research, and will consist of academics and government officials from both countries. Its participants will exchange views on future measures to assist the second phase of the joint history research.
- On June 23 (Sat), the First Regular Consultation Meeting for the Joint History Research will be held in Tokyo from 10:30 a.m., attended by members of the Joint History Research Committee. The participants will exchange views on future measures to conduct a joint study, to organize the committee, the schedule in the future, and other matters.
