- During their stay in Japan, they will exchange information on current activities of the alumni association. They will also visit industrial facilities and other places, and attend in lectures by experts to deepen their understanding of current affairs in Japan.
- These reunions started in 1974 and former students who make use of their experience of studying in Japan and now work in various fields in their own countries have been invited to Japan to promote networking among former students and alumni associations. The reunion also aims at further strengthening the former students’ role of building friendship between their countries and Japan through allowing them to rediscover Japan and renew acquaintance with those they met here before. Since the reunions started, more than 2,020 former students have participated in the course of the last 33 years.
