Visit to Japan of H.E. Dr. Pham Gia Khiem, Deputy Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam

- H.E. Dr. Pham Gia Khiem, Deputy Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, will visit Japan from May 22 (Tue) to 27 (Sun).
- During his stay, Dr. Khiem will hold the first meeting of the Japan-Viet Nam Cooperation Committee, co-chaired by himself and Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs. He will also attend a working dinner hosted by Mr. Aso, pay courtesy calls on other leaders of the government including Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, attend an international exchange meeting held by a private corporation, and have a tour outside of Tokyo.
- It is hoped that Dr. Khiem's visit to Japan will further strengthen the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.
