First Round of Japan-China-ROK Senior Foreign Affairs Officials’ Consultation

- On May 19 (Sat), the first round of the Japan-China-ROK Senior Foreign Affairs Officials’ Consultation will be held in Beijing.
- The Consultation will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Mitoji Yabunaka, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, on the Chinese side by Mr. Cui Tiankai, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and on the ROK side by Mr. Shim Yoon-joe, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
- Based on the agreement reached at the Seventh Summit of the People’s Republic of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea held in January this year, this Consultation will be held to conduct close communication and coordination on major political and diplomatic issues involving the three countries as well as international and regional issues.
