Visit to Japan by Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Minister of External Affairs of India

1. Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Minister of External Affairs of India, will visit Japan from March 22 (Thu) to 24 (Sat).

2. On March 22 (Thu), Mr. Mukherjee and Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will have the 1st Strategic Dialogue at the Foreign Ministers’ level. In the dialogue, both ministers will exchange views on ways to further strengthen bilateral relations, as well as on direction of the cooperation between the two countries towards regional and international issues.

3. During his stay in Tokyo, Mr. Mukherjee will also meet with Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, and other high-level officials of the Government of Japan.
