Visit to Japan by Mr. Masoom Stanekzai, Advisor to the President of Afghanistan

1. Mr. Masoom Stanekzai, Advisor to the President of Afghanistan, will visit Japan from February 11 (Sun) to 19 (Mon) at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2. During his stay in Japan, Mr. Stanekzai, who is in charge of security in Afghanistan, will meet with key government officials and Diet Members of Japan to exchange views on such matters as the security situation in Afghanistan and reconstruction assistance for the country.
