The Third Japan-Philippine Politico-Military Dialogue and the Fourth Japan-Viet Nam Politico-Military Dialogue

- The Third Japan-Philippine Politico-Military Dialogue will be held on
December 11 (Tue) in Manila, Philippines, and the Fourth Japan-Viet Nam
Politico-Military Dialogue will be held on December 13 (Thu) in Hanoi, Socialist
Republic of Viet Nam.
- Attending the Japan-Philippine Dialogue as Japan’s representatives
will be Mr. Junichi Ihara, Deputy Director-General, Southeast and Southwest
Asian Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Masaru Tsuji,
Director-General for International Affairs, Ministry of Defense; and attending
the Japan-Viet Nam Dialogue as Japan’s representatives will be Mr. Junichi
Ihara, Deputy Director-General, Southeast and Southwest Asian Affairs Department,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Yukinari Hirose, Director, International
Policy Division, Ministry of Defense.
- At these Dialogues, the participants will exchange views on such wide-ranging matters as the regional situation and political and security issues.
