Second Round of Japan-China-ROK Senior Foreign Affairs Officials’ Consultation

The second round of the Japan-China-ROK Senior Foreign Affairs Officials’ Consultation will be held in Seoul on October 28 (Sun).
Mr. Mitoji Yabunaka, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs will represent the Japanese side, while Mr. He Yafei, Assistant Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Shim Yoon-joe, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade will represent China and the ROK side, respectively.
This Consultation will be held to enhance communication and coordination among the three countries on common major political and diplomatic issues as well as international and regional issues. This Consultation follows the agreement reached at the Seventh Summit of the People’s Republic of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea held in January this year.
