Visit to Japan of His Excellency Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet,President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and Mrs. Chi.

His Excellency Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and Mrs. Chi, will pay a State Visit to Japan from November 25 to 29, 2007.

During their stay in Japan, the President and Mrs. Chi will make a State Call on Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress will host a State Dinner in honour of the President and Mrs. Chi.

The President will also hold a meeting with Mr. Yasuo Fukuda, Prime Minister of Japan.

The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and Mrs. Chi, which will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
