Dr. Kiyohiko Toyama, Vice-Minister (Parliamentary) for Foreign Affairs, to Visit Timor-Leste

  1. Dr. Kiyohiko Toyama, Vice-Minister (Parliamentary) for Foreign Affairs, will visit Dili, the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, from June 19 (Mon) to 21 (Wed).
  2. In Dili, Dr. Toyama will have talks with President Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao of Timor-Leste, and other key figures of the Government, and also with the U.N. representatives.
  3. In these talks, Dr. Toyama will exchange views on such issues as the current situation in Timor-Leste, Japan's future assistance to the country and how the U.N. should be involved in the country.
