Japan-Viet Nam Vice-Ministerial-Level Meeting

1. A Japan-Viet Nam Vice-Ministerial-Level Meeting will be held on May 9 (Tue) in Tokyo.
2. The Meeting will be attended on the Japanese side by Mr. Tsuneo Nishida, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, and other officials, and on the Viet Nam side by Mr. Nguyen Phu Binh, Vice Foreign Minister, and others.
3. This Meeting will be held to build wide-ranging relations between Japan and Viet Nam through talks on bilateral relations and the international situation.
4. On May 9 (Tue), Mr. Binh will pay a courtesy call on Mr. Taro Aso, Minister for Foreign Affairs.
