Mr. Katsuhito Asano, Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, to Visit Thailand

  1. Mr. Katsuhito Asano, Senior Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs, will pay the first political-level visit to Thailand on October 24 (Tue) and 25 (Wed) since it established an interim government.
  2. During his stay, Mr. Asano will have talks with General Prem Tinsulanonda, President of the Privy Council, General Surayud Chulanont, Prime Minister, Mr. Nitya Pibulsonggram, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and others to exchange views on the democratization process in Thailand, the Japan-Thailand Economic Partnership Agreement and other matters of bilateral relations.
