Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura to Visit the Republic of Korea

1. Foreign Minister Nobutaka Machimura will visit the Republic of Korea from November 5 (Fri) to 7 (Sun).
   
   
2. During his stay in the R.O.K., Mr. Machimura will have foreign ministerial talks with Mr. Ban, Ki-Moon, Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister of the R.O.K., to exchange views on measures to further develop Japan-R.O.K. relations, and to reconfirm the close cooperation between Japan and the R.O.K. on the policy regarding North Korea based on the recent situation regarding North Korea.
   
   
3. Mr. Machimura will pay a courtesy call on Mr. Roh, Moo Hyun, President of the R.O.K.
