Ms. Ana Palacio Vallelersundi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, to Visit Japan

  1. Ms. Ana Palacio Vallelersundi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, will pay a working visit to Japan from December 21 (Sun) to 23 (Tue), 2003, upon the invitation of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan.

  2. During her stay in Japan, Ms. Palacio will hold a meeting with Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, in order to exchange views on various issues including international affairs and Japan-Spain bilateral relations.

  3. The visit of Ms. Palacio to Japan is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relationship between Japan and Spain.
