Visit to Japan by Mr. Igor Sergeevich Ivanov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation

  1. Mr. Igor Sergeevich Ivanov, Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, will visit Japan from December 17 (Tue) to 19 (Thu).

  2. During his stay in Japan, the Minister will have talks with Ms. Yoriko Kawaguchi, Minister for Foreign Affairs, and exchange views on bilateral relations between Japan and Russia including preparations for Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's visit to Russia in January 2003 as well as such international affairs as the situation in North Korea and issues regarding Iraq.
