Prime Minister of Japan and Prime Minister of India

    His Excellency Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Prime Minister of India, accompanied by a suite, paid an Official Visit to Japan from December 7 to 11, 2001.
    During his stay in Japan, the Prime Minister was received in audience by His Majesty The Emperor of Japan.
    His Majesty The Emperor hosted a Court Luncheon in honor of the Prime Minister.
    The Prime Minister also held a meeting with Mr. Junichiro Koizumi, Prime Minister of Japan.
    The Prime Minister of Japan hosted a Dinner in honor of the Prime Minister.
    The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Prime Minister, which will further strengthen the friendly relations existing between Japan and India.
