Japan is deeply concerned over the armed clash between the government security forces and the dissident forces on April 13, 2011, which resulted in several deaths and injuries in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen.
Japan calls for restraint by all the parties concerned to avoid clashes.
Japan welcomes the efforts by the Arab countries to settle the situation promptly, and hopes that stability and security will be secured in Yemen.
