Acceptance of a rescue team of Mexico

- In response to Tohoku - Pacific Ocean Earthquake, a rescue team of Mexico has arrived at Narita Airport in the morning of Monday, March 14, 2011.
- Mexican rescue team consists of twelve personnel and six rescue dogs. The time the team arrives at the site is now being coordinated.
- From the Government of Mexico, condolences and sympathy were expressed and necessary assistance was offered in the letters from President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa to Prime Minister Naoto Kan, and fromForeign Minister Patricia Espinosa Cantellano to Foreign Minister Takeaki Matsumoto. The Government of Japan deeply appreciates the cooperation of the Government of Mexico.
