Acceptance of Singapore's rescue team

- In response to Tohoku - Pacific Ocean Earthquake, a team of rescue of Singapore arrived at Narita Airport this afternoon. The rescue team consists of five rescue dogs and five relevant personnel. The team is scheduled to work at areas stricken by the disaster in Fukushima Prefecture.
- From the Government of Singapore, letters of condolences and sympathy were sent from His Excellency S R Nathan, the President of the Republic of Singapore to His Majesty The Emperor and from Prime Minister LEE Hsien Loong to Prime Minister Kan respectively. The Government of Japan deeply appreciates the cooperation of the Government of Singapore.
