  1. A delegation of six Korean business people who will participate in the 42nd Japan-Korea Business Conference (to be held April 15 and 16 in Okayama City), including Chairman Mr. S.R. Cho of the Korea-Japan Economic Association, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs, for approximately thirty minutes from 3:40 p.m. on April 14 (Mr. Hidetane Iijima, chairman of the Japan-Korea Economic Association, also participated).

  2. Minister Okada stated that he would definitely like to resume the stalled Japan-Korea EPA negotiations, and asked for the support of the Korean economic world.

  3. Chairman Cho stated that liberalizing markets in Japan and Korea would create a larger market and be beneficial for both countries.
