In response to the landslide disaster that occurred in the northeastern district of the Republic of Uganda, Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Prime Minister of Japan, and Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs have each dispatched messages to H.E. Mr. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of Uganda, and Hon. Mr. Sam Kahamba Kutesa, Foreign Minister of Uganda, relaying their condolences and sympathy for the large number of victims of the disaster.
