  1. Government of Japan is strongly concerned about the casualties that have resulted from clashes between anti-government protestors and the security authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

  2. Differences of opinion in the country should basically be resolved through efforts by the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and citizens of the country. The Government of Japan strongly expects that the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran respects various standpoints, and responds fairly and in accordance with law.
