- The Government of Japan greatly regrets that anti-government protesters
in Thailand have occupied Bangkok's international airports, shutting down
its function for nearly a week. The Government of Japan is also deeply
concerned about the situation of which the shutdown of the airport has begun
seriously affecting not only the movement of people between Japan and Thailand
but Japanese companies’ business activities such as distribution of goods.
- The Government of Japan strongly hopes that the situation which caused the occupation of the airports will be peacefully resolved as soon as possible and that the airport will resume its business immediately.
