- A Working Level Meeting concerning the Issue of the Remains of Former Military Personnel from the Korean Peninsula was held on April 18 (Wed) in Tokyo (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
- The Meeting was attended on the Japanese side by those concerned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare; and on the ROK side by those concerned from the “Truth Commission on Forced Mobilization under the Japanese Imperialism” and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Tokyo.
- At the Meeting, meaningful discussions were held among working-level officials on various matters concerning the return to Korea of the remains of military personnel from the Korean Peninsula, which are still kept in the care of Yutenji Temple.
