Commendation by the Minister for Foreign Affairs

On April 9 (Mon), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presents a Foreign Minister’s Commendation to music producer Mr. Chung Myung-Gun for his efforts and outstanding achievements in contributing to the promotion of Japan-Republic of Korea (ROK) cultural exchange.

Mr. Chung has contributed to developing a future-oriented relationship between Japan and the ROK through planning and cooperation in the field of culture and arts, such as the “Building Friendship Through Music 2007” concert, a special commemorative project for the Japan-ROK-China Friendship, held on January 22 this year with the participation of outstanding musicians from Japan, the ROK and China.
