Statement by Press Secretary/Director-General for Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the House of Representatives Election in Thailand

  1. The Government of Japan welcomes the report that a House of Representatives election, which was extremely important towards an establishment of democratic government, was held in Thailand on December 23.
     
  2. The Government of Japan hopes that, following this election, a new administration will be launched smoothly.
