Negotiations to Revise the Convention between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Republic of India for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income

- The first round of formal negotiations to revise the Convention between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Republic of India for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income will be held from February 7 (Mon) to 10 (Thu) in Tokyo (Ministry of Finance).
- These negotiations will be attended on the Japanese side by relevant officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance, and on the Indian side by relevant officials of the Ministry of Finance.
- These negotiations for revision will be the first since the revision of 1989.
